How and when did you discover CrossFit?
I live next to Kevin O’Shea. He asked me to join many times but I held off until i heard that the Legends class was starting. I met Christy Runey and signed right up.
How has CrossFit affected you since you started?
The work i did all my life was quite physical but what I lacked during that time was physical balance. Parts of me were over worked and much of me was underworked. The work I have down with Christy over the last 2 years has gotten me into the best shape I have been in in decades with a much more overall toned condition.
What class do you normally attend?
What are your short and long term goals?
Fitness and mobility. I looked for maximum weights during the first year I worked here but that became a problem so I backed off on my maximums and now work for overall fitness.

Snatches. I’m struggling with upper back mobility right now.
What is one interesting fact many people don’t know about you?
I have a BFA in sculpture and am an amateur historian.
