How and when did you discover CrossFit?
My girlfriend, Alex, did it for years and would try to get me to go with her, but I never did. Then a few years ago I was talking to Matt Michaud and he GUARANTEED CrossFit would make me a better runner and cyclist, so I decided to give it a try and have been going ever since. By the way Alex was right (always is) and Matt’s guarantee held up, definitely a better runner and way better cyclist.
How has CrossFit affected you since you started?
CrossFit has undoubtedly made me stronger (when I started I probably could barely clean 100 pounds.) It has also mentally made me stronger and I’ve found I am able to push through on those hard workouts where I would have let up. All of this has transferred to sports and life outside of the gym and has helped me to keep improving.
But most importantly it has introduced me to some awesome people and made some cool friends.
