How and when did you discover CrossFit & what concerns or problems did you have before you started?
I discovered CrossFit through friends in February of 2020. I missed working out and due to the pandemic I was just running outside. I wanted to try something different than before and finally was convinced to just come take one class. Almost two years later I’m at EP five days a week!
What results have you gotten so far?
They’re maybe too many to list! When I first started I never had done an Olympic lift, ever. I was cleaning with an empty barbell. Fast forward to now it’s completely different. To see the progression in the weight I’m able to lift, a coach can give advice and I’m able to translate that almost immediately into what I’m doing versus taking weeks to understand and my endurance is increasing.
What is different about EverProven services?
The community. It’s unparalleled. Whenever you walk in members are smiling, coaches say hello, there’s an energy in the room that makes you want to be here. Members are competitive with each other and themselves but more important they want to see the person beside them win too. When someone hits a PR the level of excitement for that person you can just feel it from everyone.
What would you tell someone that is on the fence about joining EverProven?
Come to a 5:30am class we have the best time. Kidding, any class has a fun time! But just come, walk in, and don’t be afraid to ask questions.
What is one interesting fact many people don’t know about you?
I’m impeccable with directions. I can look at a map once and navigate off of it and never look at it again.
