How and when did you discover CrossFit?
One of my close friends from home introduced me to CrossFit in 2016 after I moved back home from grad school.
How has CrossFit affected you since you started?
This might sound cheesy but CrossFit has literally changed my life. It allowed me to call myself an athlete again, challenges me everyday both physically and mentally, gives me a space to set goals to improve myself, and most importantly it has given me a community of incredible people.
What class do you normally attend?
5:15pm for life!!
What are your short and long term goals?
My short term goal is to get my nutrition back on track in the next 3 months. This will ultimately become a long term goal but small steps first!
My long term goal is to get into the 200# club for Snatch!
What’s your favorite WOD/movement?
I would say it’s a battle between snatch and box jumps.
What’s your LEAST favorite WOD/movement?
THRUSTERS. These light a raging fire in my soul.
What is one interesting fact many people don’t know about you?
My go to fun fact is that I’m ambidextrous 🤲🏼
