What our coaches have to say about Jenn:
Jenn Hagman has always been a bright light- she always intentionally approaches her workouts with integrity and honesty- she holds herself accountable- even when it’s hard or not the results she is seeking on that day- her empathy with others- hands down she is the best- she always treats every athlete and coach equally with a caring smile or some words of wisdom.
When did you join EverProven CrossFit and what brought you here?
I joined EverProven in November of 2021. I have known and been friends with Matt and Katie for a long time. We worked out together at a prior gym. I had lifted weights but mostly enjoyed and was interested in cardio. As I got older, I knew how important it was for my health to lift heavier weights. Even though I was intimidated by the bar, the onboarding made the transition easy.
What do you like best about being an EverProven athlete?
The community! I have met some really great people here. I love that we open our arms to all people and I’m excited to see the Abilities in Action program take off. The joy these athletes will bring is beyond compare.
Can you share a specific health improvement or positive change in your life that you attribute to EverProven?
I think it’s important to remember to try new things even if they seem hard or out of your comfort zone. Even just trying is a huge accomplishment. I love the saying “a body in motion stays in motion” and trying new things promotes that energy which feeds your mind and soul. I think that is what keeps people young even as you age.
What advice would you give to someone who is hesitant to become an EverProven athlete?
Don’t hesitate! Your health is the most important thing you can change for the better.
When you aren’t at the gym what is your favorite thing to do?
I think the obvious answer is spending time with family (this includes pets) and friends but going on new adventures is also the best. It doesn’t have to be something big but just trying or going somewhere new is always fun.

What is one interesting fact many people don’t know about you?
I went to the junior Olympics and was the state champ when I was 12 years old for swimming. My favorite events were the 200 or 400 IM and anything butterfly. I did compete against Jenny Thompson in high school too but only saw her feet. hahaha
